Processing noise measurements

Description:

For some permitting projects we have to perform noise measurements on site (industrial plants). During these measurements we record under what circumstances we perform the measurement and back at the office we use this data to manually determine the sound emission of an installation.

The processing of the measurement data to something we use in a noise model takes a lot of time and manual steps. We can automate and standardize this process a lot.

Additionally, we have an internal database containing previously performed measurements which we use as a reference for projects. Our current way of working has a lack of standardization, is sensitive to errors and requires a lot of manual steps.

We want to create a tool which automatically performs the calculations with given input and is also able to make appendices of the calculations which can be added to our report (appendix). Additionally the tool has to update our internal database and create a shapefile with noise sources that can be imported into our calculation software.
